The Process

Discovery

After submitting the inquiry form, we'll have a call to discuss your business needs and vision to make sure we're a good match.

Locked In

If we're compatible, you'll sign a Project Agreement, read my project policies, and pay the deposit.

The Plan

We'll design a mood board aligned with your business goals and industry research, serving as the visual guide for the project.

In Progress

I'll begin working on the broad strokes, with regular check-ins to make sure things are aligning with your goals.

Refining Concepts

We'll narrow down and refine the concepts from Step 4 until they're just right to create a cohesive design that will impress clients across all touchpoints.

Delivery

Once your project is complete, you'll settle the final payment and receive your project files, along with a Strategy Document outlining each creative decision.

Branding FAQs

How long does the process usually take?

Brand identity designs usually take between 4-6 weeks, depending on your business' needs and how quickly we can collaborate on revisions. If you've chosen additional deliverables or are also purchasing my web design package, the process can take longer.

If your project is urgent, I also offer rush rates.

Which branding package is right for me?

Depending on your business' needs and the products or services you offer, you may not need an "all out" branding package. I offer some guidelines in the plan options above to help you decide, but if you're still unsure we can connect to find the best fit.

Don't you just offer one-off logo design?

Sorry, no. This is because a logo alone only scratches the surface of brand design. Brand design is a powerful combination of aesthetics + strategy. Without a cohesive identity to support it, a logo alone won't appear professional or deliver a satisfactory ROI.

If you're on a budget, I recommend the Branding Essentials package. This package includes the essentials (logo, typography, colours, and 1-3 additional deliverables as needed), but leaves out things like patterns, packaging, and other deliverables that those businesses won't use. This package is a great match for businesses in the skilled trades, businesses in the budget category, or solopreneurs who are just getting their business off the ground.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! I offer payment plans in 3- or 6-month options, with project delivery once payment is completed.

Do you take clients outside Canada/USA?

Yes! I speak English and French and can assist you in any country in either language.

What will I receive in the final package?

Depending on your chosen package, your final delivery will include the following:

  • Logo suite: Primary logo, alternate logo(s), and submarks, as needed or in accordance with our agreement.
  • Brand personality guidelines document detailing the feel behind your brand, and instructions on displaying your brand's assets in order to maintain consistency.
  • Custom deliverables such as bespoke lettering, artwork, or illustration in accordance with our project agreement
  • Any additional deliverables we've agreed upon — e.g. illustrations, menu designs, packaging designs, employee badge designs, sandwich boards, trade show displays, or whatever else might fit your business' needs.
  • All design files with instructions for print and digital application, plus instructions on file backup and protection.
Do you offer discounts?

Depending on my capacity and project load, I occasionally offer discounts or pro-bono work exclusively to nonprofits or charities.
